More Ian Hunter!!
How do they put an album online with a different singer? We need more Mott, More Ian, Love to see him tour again! This is not one of the greatest but still better than most of the so called good music coming out today!

It's great to see more Ian Hunter music available on emusic. But fans should be careful - 5 of the 12 tracks (4,5,7,10,11) have a different singer (i.e. not Hunter). Not that these are bad, but I don't care to have them in my collection classified under 'Ian Hunter'. The 7 tracks with Ian are good - but a tad overproduced for my tastes. Best to download Rant and Shrunken Heads first - 2 excellent later recordings.
Ian Hunter -- the man behind Mott the Hoople for those who don't know -- has been creating excellent rock since the '60s, and his latest albums see him a little bit grown up but still as sharp and pointed ( - and poignant?) as ever. The whole album is a highlight – I particularly enjoy ‘Psycho Girl’ though, and me and my buds will always sing it at appropriate moments. There's more from the man on eMusic -- get everything you can by Ian Hunter!!!
