They Say All Music Guide

CCMIX: New Electroacoustic Music From Paris is a compilation of electronic music blended with acoustic instruments from several French composers. Artists like Daniel Terrugi and Julio Estrada have a unique sound that is showcased here with many like-minded musicians. Although most of these artists are unfamiliar to most American listeners, the music is not so exotic as to alienate potential fans. Anyone looking for the latest in experimental French music will probably want to give this compilation a try; it definitely reflects a scene that is not very average. – Bradley Torreano
