Before the second wave of Norwegian disco took over the globe, the king of Norway was undoubtedly one Rune Lindbaek, an exceptionally talented producer, crazy-eyed party animal and top man to boot. In a marked departure from the usual Bear Funk style, "Laisn" sees the UK equivalents of Rune (the Idjuts of course) make a dubby downbeat comedown tune and get Lindbaek to talk all over the top of it in that charming way of his. The remixes see Switzerland's Kalabrese and Germany's Sasse apply their own deep tech-house touches to proceedings.
