The master does it best

Of all the recordings I've heard of Le Sacre du Printemps, this, to me, is the most satisfying. I wore it out on cassette, then moved to CD, and might need another CD now had I not shifted to digital files. The blare of the brass, the thunder of percussion, the thrill of the violins. the windy moans of the woodwinds; all of the voices of the orchestra are merged into a savage perfection I've not heard achieved in any other rendition. Even if you have another recording of these seminal works, I strongly suggest you add this one to your collection. You will not be disappointed.
