Rhythmic sequencer-based pieces spiced with various samples, sound bites and found vocals. Interspersed with these are several low-key noise pieces. The best of the latter include “Wasteland,” with its very dense layers of atmospheric droning noise, and the minimal 25-plus minute epic “Recognition,” a sparse, menacing track that unfolds so slowly you’re almost not aware it’s happening. – William I.
