The second effort on Curtom by The Impressions was much deeper than "My Country". It built on that and took it to another level. The title track is the bomb, Choice Of Colors makes you think, and Mighty Mighty makes you say, "uh-huh, that's right!" There's also a beautiful ballad in "The Girl I Find", and a tight heatbreak song in "Seven Years". The music is tight with funk overtones, making the sounds of the album much richer. This is worth every download!!!!!
I've always loved the impressions, but this album really makes you rethink everything you thought about them. It crosses styles effortlessly and manages to bring out everything good in rock, soul, pop and spirituals. For ten credits it's an absolute no brainer.
