Usually I find myself, at least, somewhat disappointed in dance albums that I have downloaded. Usually the background music is terrible (great intro which is why the samples are better than the real thing). Usually the vocals lack passion, strength or unbelievability - the waifish/whiny/disconnected sound only goes SO far (Colby Caillat anyone?). This is not your usual dance music. Vocalist Lina Rafn sings like she is holding you hostage with a .45 caliber. Not only does *she* believe everything she's singing, but sings it with a passion that will (actually) stun you. On the flip side of the coin (the rendition of "Vienna," the Ultravox classic), she can also envelop you in a cloud of liquid smoke - both languid and ethereal. Musician (and part-time support vocals) Paw Lagermann gives the music it's electrosexual pulse with a beat that will have you breaking into a spontaneous-groove in the middle of a department store. Download it. Now.
