Not Impressed...

Woggy

This has the typical Insomnium sound musically, but the album wasn't produced very well and the vocals suffer.

The torch of melodic death is burning bright

If you are a fan of melodic death metal, you will love this band. It is different than your standard early In Flames, Dark Tranquillity etc. For one, it has some touches of Opeth-like passages, is a tad-less technical than what you might expect, but is far more melodic than the new generation of bands. This is one of the few bands that is able to alter my mood significantly. Compared to earlier albums, this one is a bit more varied. Personally, I thought \"Across the Dark\" was better. But this comes a close second.
