Any IONA Live is wonderfull!

Was just searching eMusic, and came across this gem. Having followed Iona for many years (at least a decade, maybe more), I never thought I would get the chance to see them live - and resigned to buying the DVD's. That all changed at NEARfest 2010 - what a stellar performance - and listening to this show only substantiates that. A great recording - while yes, there are tracks heard on other live releases, but it also has newer items that haven't been heard before, so download and enjoy :-)

I was going to give this a lower rating because this, the third live Iona album, duplicates several tracks from previous live albums, but since it's a DVD soundtrack, I'll let that slide. I prefer this band in a live setting, and this is a good selection of recent songs as well as classics. Woven Cord is still the definitive live release by the band (due to the fantastic use of an orchestra), but Live in London is a nice addition to my collection.
