Too "Spacey" For My Tastes
This album sounds like the que-line music from Space Mountain...if you know what I'm talking about, then you can basically say that you've heard what this album has to offer. The production value is good overall, the music just takes an intergalactic soundscape approach that one finds on many albums that include "Crystal" in the title. The sweeping background noise sounds very stereotypically inter-stellar from the 1970's, and the melody is created by another high-octave synthesizer voice. If this type of new age music is your bag, then you will definitely like this album...but if you're like me and best enjoy albums that blend Earth-tones, with actual instruments, and use synthesizers drones sparingly, then you might want to skip this one.
