A Riot Grrrl Classic

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I'm utterly gobsmacked that anyone would think that this is any way inferior to Clear Hearts Grey Flowers, which had it's moments but was in parts uninspired. Sexless Demon and Scars is jam packed with attitude and delightfully edgy alt. rock songs. If I could be bothered to compile a top 20 list of my all-time favourite albums, this would definitely be one of them.

This isn't nearly as good as "Clear Hearts Grey Flowers," but that's asking a lot. Instead, you get some great tracks like "Devil with the Black Dress On" that will stick in your head for days. A good album from an artist that would only get better.

some good stuff, but too often, their awful and embarrassing "clever" lyrics ruin a song. get this only after you have "Clear Hearts Grey Flowers" and can't live without more.
