A Must Have Recording

Muddy

This is one of Cotton's best albums. The recording features the great, brilliant, but largely unknown guitar player named Sammy Lawhorn. Lawhorn recorded with notables like Muddy Waters and Junior Wells. A true blues guitar legend. Pine Top Perkins on Piano is another treat. This album features great songs, equally great performances, and very good recording quality-on the CD at least. A must have recording.
