this album is truly amazing; somehow channeling and condensing a pop smear of the 1980's into something that sounds fresh and also of cultural importance beyond retrospection. but wait there's more.. those piano rolls, the choruses, those sounds that we have all heard opening a computer application or in scuttling along at the airport as something(someone) speaks to us obliquely. why do i feel that i have heard this before? a virtual smorgasbord of sound.... for that clean fresh scent!
