Track #3 "Evolve" is actually "EVOLOVE" on the album "Oh, Yeah?" by JAN HAMMER.By the way,Tracks 1,2,3,5 and 7 are fun to hear as instrumental music.

Remember fusion? Blistering riffs, showboating technique, you sure got your money's worth in the sheer number of notes played. But, the genre has not held up well, needless to say. However, this is one I still get off on, these many years later. Maybe it's Jan Hammer's pop sensibilities, and it's not so deadly serious. There are some tracks that might actually be called songs. Pretty funky, too. Beware, though, that this is not Miami Vice-style 80's cheese. Anybody willing to dip their toe back into the fusion genre, this is a good place to start.
