This brings back memories of vinyl recordings my father used to play of the superb work by Kottke and Fahey.. it may sound strange to say but this even provides the kind of rhythmic stimulation that I enjoy in various idm and breakbeat pieces. The musicianship is often stunning - harmonics that are sustained, bell-like, over all the complexity of percussion (created by tapping on the guitar) rippling melody and accompaniment. It's the kind of music that takes serious work, and ultimately is just uplifting and a great deal of fun. For those who care - she's a female in a male dominated field.
