Swell, but, Slightly Misfiled
I'm really enjoying this record, but it's misfiled as being solely "by" Jean Ritchie. If you look at the cover art (I didn't) you'll notice the names David Sear and Oscar Brand. In fact, the concert features all three of them. Again, I want to stress that I like it a lot. Here's a copy of the album notes from the Smithsonian website- >>This live recording of three very different singers presents Jean Ritchie's southern ballads, Oscar Brand's sea songs and "atomic blues," and Dave Sear's repertoire of Scottish songs. The three enjoy working together, and their enthusiasm is audible in both the music and the spoken introductions to several tracks.<<
