Not all that much has changed for Paz and Allah. Sure, this record was just released, but the same lyrics could have been written 10, 20 years ago when g-rap was at its most relevant commercially. But please, don't read this as a criticism. In fact the opposite is true. This record is necessary and these artists are brave: These stories are as real as they ever were, maybe moreso now in this economy, and JMT is audacious and tenacious. Yes, same ol' stuff... but needed now. Listen up!
