Classy urban lovers rock

Britster

I for one wasn't looking much forward to the resurgence of "dinner party soundtracks" that has accompanied the mainstreaming of recent strands of UK urban dance music, but this is a highly impressive pop record. It's refreshing that Ware is not your standard chanteuse, in spite of having an immensely pleasing voice, the arrangements are sophisticated and fresh-sounding across dreamy, dubby dance pop and full-on balladry. "WIldest Moments" is ace - it could out ella-ella "Umbrella" if Ware was more marketable but I eventually just got rid of the rap version (Track 13) as Americanising the track just comes across as lame.
