Havin' a Good Time...Wish you Were Here

is just exactly what this album, even in its old "bought used in 1972, 33 1/3rpm scratchy version, has always said to me. This music and presentation is great fun, great to sing along with and on this nicely cleaned recording, a real good time. This is "gotta sing and dance music for all ages". Sorry for the somewhat unsophisticated and pedestrian review, but this is barefoot, home-made-wine-drinking music at its best.

Jug band music originated in Louisville, Kentucky, around 1905, but reached its fullest flowering in Memphis in the 1920s.
