excellent melodic rock
Empires, released in '99, is one of emusic's deeply buried gems. Survivor (of Rocky soundtrack fame) was a good band but here frontmane JJamison seriously delivers with a solid collection of melodic rock numbers. From the cool opener Cry Tough to the ballads in the middle and the poignant closer In America you will be hooked. Recommended
