Hmmmm

Came across this and thought great, a Jo Ann Kelly album that I haven't got. Maybe it's because I discovered the blues in the sixties from remastered 78s and I remember her first album which I still have on vinyl but this is just a bit too polished and lacks the edge of some of the other recordings.. Still can't make my mind up.

Jo Ann Kelly died of brain cancer in 1990, but she was one of the best (if not the best) British blues singers ever. Don't let the picture fool you - she could sing and play for real. So happy to have digital access to these recording now (that isn't thru the iPlace). This album came out in 1976.
