I thought most of her albums had a lot of filler. This one doesn't.

What can I say...I'm a fan of the old school rock music and Joan Jett and her gang fit the bill for me. Makes me want to get up and dance on the coffee table. I don't care that there isn't anything on it that I don't already have...I'm just glad to see it all in the same place. Good one eMusic.

Good compilation but...

Nothing hard to find on here. Nothing unreleased... already have all these so no reason to buy it. Was hoping to find a couple bonus gems or something. She's still awesome, but I wish Blackheart had thought a bit about the diehards when putting this together.

Released in conjunction with the major motion picture The Runaways, 2010’s Greatest Hits is a double-disc, 21-track set that offers a basic overview of her hits with the Blackhearts and the work she did afterward, then adds re-recordings of her Runaways hits for good measure. These re-recordings were made for the movie, and are by and large heavier than the originals, so they get the collection off to somewhat of a leaden start, but once they give way to the original recordings, this is a good overview of Jett’s basics. – Stephen Thomas Erlewine
