More like 3.5 stars
Some pretty good Fusion here. Some tracks lean a bit to the more commercial end of that spectrum. I will say that someone needs to tell this guy that he really can't sing. He plays violin quite well but, to my ears at least, his singing is almost painful. Granted he only sings on 3 cuts, tracks 3, 5 and 7. Tracks 3 and 7 are so bad I deleted them from my library (even though I already paid for them!). Track 5, Frank Zappa's "Magic Fingers" is tolerable as the vocals are short and this is one of Zappa's tunes that doesn't rely heavily on the vocals.
