Top-notch, especially the soprano soloist

The main reason I would say to get this, apart from the usual high standards of Suzuki et al, is the performance by Carolyn Sampson. She's recorded some lovely Bach over the last few years - and this is no exception. A long cantata like BWV 210 with just one soloist could run the risk of being a bit same-y, but there's no problem of that here. Check out the fourth track ('Ruht hie, matte Töne..') for a flavour. The Coffee Cantata gets an excellent performance too & is good fun. The other soloists also put in good work, with well-judged accompaniments from Suzuki's band: try Sampson's 'Ei! wie schmeckt der Coffee süsse..' and the jolly final chorus. And then download the lot. Great stuff.
