I've been on emusic for a few years now, and have picked a few songs from a few of Johannes Linstead's albums. This is the first full album I've EVER downloaded on emusic, for any artist. All of the samples sounded good, and now that I've heard the full songs, I'm glad I got them all. He has really perfected the ability to make songs sound good.
Wonderful album of guitar music, jazzy with a Latin influence. Or Latin with a jazzy influence, take your pick. Whatever, it's mighty fine listening. I especially like 1000 Veils, Mistico, and Coconut Girl. Thanks to eMu for the free song too, without it this album likely would have languished in obscurity.
and now I'm going to have to buy the whole album. Hope the rest is a good as this
beautiful guitar music! mistico may be my favorite, but it's hard to choose as they are all better than great, this music will make your ears happy and your feet want to move....
