Its weird how someone can play John Carpenter's music the same way, using the same synth sounds, yet cannot achieve the same eerie, cool quality. Yes, these are the songs, but sadly, not the originals...

At first listen it sounds like someone is playing these songs on a vintage synth, but when John Carpenter did these songs, the synth wasn't vintage, it was what he had to work with.
