Roots

gluria

Johnny Winter passed away at the age of 70 on July 16. Ironically, "Roots" has him sounding as vibrant and as contemporary as he has at anytime in the past. With guests as diverse as Vince Gill, John Popper and Derek Trucks, Johnny shows his versatility as a guitarist from blues to rock and in between. Johnny's final album, to be released in September, continues the concept with Eric Clapton, Leslie West and Joe Perry. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the music and R.I.P. Johnny.

I'VE BEEN WAITING 4 THIS 2 SHOW UP

BLUESMAN4EVER

I couldn't wait ,so I had to buy the CD over a year ago.Probably the best album by Johnny in the most recent time,so if you like his music get this one.Johnny has been a favorite of mine since the days of "Rock & Roll Hoochie Coo" and his live "Roadwork" album with his brother Edger and Rick Derringer.Enough about his past, this is a great album from beginning to end, with guest artists on every cut but one,and it's my favorite.JOHNNY HAS HIS MO JO WORKIN' !
