Expansive and Natural Sounding

austina

This performance gives a very detailed view of these timeless pieces coupled with the period instruments from Saval and his group you get what I think the one of the most satisfying Brandenbourg Concertos to date.. some new detail keeps snicking up on you.. The recording sometimes seems to strougle to capture the grandure that the artists are able to display... I love this recording anyway and prefer it over the Trevor Pinick version which sounds processed compared to this.

Grand!

claasicalover

This recording has clarity, beauty, brilliance, nuance. Superb fidelity. Original instruments here bring out a new warmth.
