This captures the starkness and depth in his music, he is at home on the live/acoustic stage.
great little gem
this release gives you a great sense of the intimate nature of josh's solo acoustic shows, and the fact that it is recorded in his home state of idaho adds to this feel. songs from previous albums are great to hear in acoustic format, and unrelased (to my knowledge) songs like Bandits, Daddy's Little Pumpkin, and Peter Killed the Dragon are definitely worth purchase! if you've never seen josh play live, travel any distance to do it! his exhuberance and happiness radiate!
