Always Worth It

I like to hear anything by Josh White, whose voice is easy on the ears and whose songs are poignant, pointed and way ahead of their time. It was interesting to hear these earlier 78 rpm renditions of several songs (like One Meat Ball and St. James Infirmary)that I knew from the stereo Elektra recordings. My only disappointment is that I could not find those recordings on emusic, so I couldn't share with my son Josh White at his best. My son, like many young people into music, has little tolerance for lo-fi pre stereo technology. So it was interesting to get these more original recordings, but I would like it if emusic could add the 1960's Elektra tracks as well.
