Overproduced by Martin Hannett
Just like Jello Biafra said, this production takes the soul out of this great song. Ian's vocals are down in the mix, synthy gurglings are up. Hey, it's like New Order! The faster version on Let the Movie Begin is better. So is the original. So is the Swans (Jarboe vocals) version - BTW, emusic should get hold of that song.

What is wih the fadeouts?
It is okay that Tranmission is included as the other song instead of These Days, but why have they changed the endings of the Love Will Tear US Apart versions to fadeouts? Just when the buildup to that final chord strike starts happening, it starts fading out. I feel cheated. I think I'll get the phonograph out of storage, and break out the vinyl version
