Ready For The Whole Show
The only problem with this excellent tribute to one of the theatre's most exciting composers is that the show doesn't follow the overture. Even Jule Styne's shows that slightly missed - or out and out flopped - had more than a handful of excellent tunes. Some of the overtures sound better here than on the original cast recordings, due to the extreme care of the conductor and the sound engineers.
