Great stuff, but a teaser at best
Julia Lee is still a great unknown to most of the American populace, even to those in the know about R&B and its various offshoots. She made scads of terrific R-rated songs, and if you like the ones on this release, get ready to belly up and purchase the whole enchildada called Kansas City Star on Bear Family. BTW, this is listed as New Orleans R&B, and she has little to nothing to do with that style. So what. Belly up.
