I like Pomplamoose a lot too, so I wasn't too disappointed at all, and this is a nice short sampler to get started with; the songs are clever pop with a nicely wrought and sort of homespun quality to the music.

I have mixed feelings about this EP. All in all I love it, but it's very different from what I was expecting. Julia's sound has greatly evolved and the album definitely sounds more polished compared to her previous endeavors. (That's thanks to her producers Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn of Pomplamoose.) Die hard Julia fans will love "I Think You Know." However, if you're new to her music, I suggest picking up "Left, Right, Wrong" or "I Wrote These" first. 5 out of 5
