Bad performance, Bad recording
I agree with MARTZ on this one. Jay Clifford sounds ill, and the recording is barely more than a fan recording. Don't try and judge Jump, Little Children's calibre based on this performance.

I am a major Jump fan and have seen them live many times. Neither the quality of the recording nor the quality of performance do justice to Jump here. As a former bootleg junkie, I would rate this recording quality as FAIR at best. Clifford's guitar is slightly out of tune from the first note, and its not a great vocal performance from him. He seems strained/fatigued on this recording. In light of the recently released "Dock Street" double-disk (on buyswag.com), I recommend against buying this one.
