Primarily known for her stunning interpretations of Béla Bartók, June de Toth excellently captures the lyrical sensitivity and chromatic intensity of Chopin's beloved piano works. Her most sensitive, rubato-filled interpretations occur on the waltzes and mazurkas, Central European dance genres Chopin filled with ornamentation often turned heavy in the wrong hands. The mazurkas, based on folk dances from Chopin's homeland of Mazovia, became popular 19th-century Parisian society dances, and Chopin's 50 highly stylized, contemplative and highly modal examples of the genre helped fuel the drive for Slavonic nationalist art music.

By the first eight bars, she plays two wrong notes in the left hand. The second section is pedaled so poorly,I could not listen to the end. And it is a wretched piano!
