Kid 606, otherwise known as Miguel Trost Depedro, has been soundtracking raves and other drug-tinged parties since the release of his 1998 debut, Don't Sweat the Technics. With an ear for the schizophrenic and a soundboard to match, Depedro blends the breakcore, ambient techno, glitch and so-called "intelligent dance music" genres, sampling, beeping and whirring his way to dense, swirling dance tracks like the title "Be monophobic with me" and the aforementioned "Samnhain California."
