I think the stock review says it well -"reasonable": not the band's best material, not outstanding, but not half bad either. The opening track (my favorite) is reincarnated (at least in terms of its basic structure of gentle opening, sudden eruption of power, tailing off into gentleness again) with more power in the wonderful "one ear in the sun" on the 'Warm Turtle' album; elsewhere also there is a sense that later work picks up the directions set here with more assurance and better execution. The ambient interludes seem overdone at times (second half of "jetstream"). But taken on its own merits the whole is pleasant enough to be worth a place in the rotation. Try "Be Gentle with the Warm Turtle" first, then bear in mind that this is earlier.
