This is definitely worth the download. I notice the lyrics are from standard songs but they handle the vocals in a fresh way.

Definitely a diamond in the rough..
Where this album lacks in "breaking new ground" it succeeds in being an overall enjoyable listen. Well worth the downloads - great for the morning - enough style and pizazz to keep it from being nu jazz drivel. Reminiscent of Bonobo, Alif Tree, a dash of The Dining Rooms, and a pinch of early Parov Stelar. Strongly recommended.
Nu-Jazz Standard
This album is very comforting, relaxing, and hypnotic. Overall, this is the a brilliant album. Listen to "Open Doors" as good introduction to what style of Nu-Jazz this falls under; down-tempo and melodic--it's the vocals that drive it home. Definitely, reminiscent of Bonobo.
