Worth the wait!

Although I have read some mixed reviews of this album from long-time fans, as a "40-something" metalhead who has been a Kreator disciple from the beginning, I find no faults here. To my ears it is not only a Kreator history lesson (with flavors reflecting all periods of their career) it is a strong leap into the future. Kreator will continue to ride the crest of the thrash wave.

Kreator on top from!

Raw production and a tight performance make "Hordes of Chaos" one of Kreator's very best albums. Plenty of catchy riffs and thrilling solos here. Clocks in at just over 38 minutes so there's no messing about and no time for filler. Quality contemporary thrash from start to finish. Download now! You'll not be disappointed!!

Super Album

It's telling that Metallica releases their first album in years and this, Kreator's "Hordes of Chaos," tears it to shreds. Mille's probably 50, but sounds like a hungry musician one generation removed. In a sea of metal albums both above and underground, this one hit the spot.

Really good metal

OrkyDoc

this is great! I've liked Krator for a long time but thier last few albums have been really good in a sea of euro-screamo growling death metal. Really check this band out and this new album is f'n awesome!

They Say All Music Guide

You know what lays ahead whenever you embark on listening to a new Kreator studio album, and 2009′s Hordes of Chaos is certainly no different. And that isn’t meant as a knock on the band — heck, Kreator should be commended for sticking to their guns and continuing on in the same “thrash-happy” style since pretty much their inception (without bowing down to musical trends). So, that said, you can make up your own “Kreator checklist”: growled vocals and intense riffing (the album-opening title track), lightning-fast tempos (“Warcurse”), tasty dual-guitar work (“Destroy What Destroys You”) — it’s all represented here, folks. It’s been nearly four long years since Mille Petrozza and friends issued an all-new studio album, and Hordes of Chaos should most definitely meet the needs of Kreator diehards worldwide. – Greg Prato
