Interesting blend of guitar and horns
In a way it's amazing how well Rosenwinkel's guitar blends with the horn's of the OJM big band. Though on further consideration it's not that surprising. In fact Rosenwinkel's trademark sustaining sound is a perfect match to the horns. As with all of Rosenwinkel's work you do have to like things to be just a bit left of center, though some great arrangements help tone down the trademark oddness of his music. This makes this album a great intro to this artists or if you are already a fan of his, a great addition to your collection.
