First Rate Baroque from Stuttgart
Brescianello was active at the Stuttgart Court, one of the most brilliant musical establishents of the time. He writes in a high baroque style, reminiscent of Vivaldi, but I think in a much more varied style, and for that reason his music is much more interesting. The G minor concerto is a double concerto wiyth oboe, and the one in B flat with basoon. The group is associated with the Basel Schola Cantorum, a major period instrument conservatory.
