Beautiful recording
This album has 4 instrumentals and 2 vocal pieces. I have always been shy of Baroque albums with vocals, but the vocal pieces here have taught me that the human voice adds a whole other wonderful dimension to Vivaldi's music. It is lovely how the voice dances in and out and all around the strings in this recording. The 'Laudate Pueri' piece (tracks 3-12) is truly magnificent. There are also 2 very different concertos for organ and strings, and the 2nd one (last 3 tracks) is extraordinary.
