The “Tower of Babel” remix is transformed into a trip-hop number by DJ Skanky & Dr. D, while “The Rise and Fall of a Phone Call” remix by Xploding Plastic is more laid-back, focusing on the groove. For “The Sweet & Lowdown” remix, the High Llamas remodel the song into a Stereolab track sung by Philip Oakey and tweaked by Brian Wilson. – Bart Bealmear
