I agree with ya Alex..........
I prefer The Bastards albums over the newer Rancid releases. This is a great street punk CD. Don't forget to check out his 1st CD. It is on Emusic. His last name is spelled incorrectly. You just have to search for Lars FrederiCksen and the Bastards. (Put the "C" in his last name). EDIT: It has been updated correctly by Emusic.
Real Strength, not a Rancid copycat.
Ok, so if you're familiar with Rancid, you know they've softened considerably over the years. Chances are you either love em or hate em because of this. If you fall into the latter category, check out the Bastards. The Bastards are what Rancid should've kept sounding like. Not much Tim, no ballads, no hip-hop influence, no garbled singing, just real punk! Though aesthetically similar, Lars and crew make a musical stand that should keep the haters in check.
