I stumbled across this album after hearing a track from their newest release in the latest issue of Songlines magazine, and what can I say? This is pure bliss: chilled out beats, random chatter and... I just want to be sat in a French bar with a cigarette and a bottle of red now. Very atmospheric, very beautiful.

The French-Cuban connection

While they cover songs by Miguel Angel Ruiz, they do it in an original style.. you can tell it's not totally Cuban in origin I think mostly because the vocals are so much in front everything else. One of the great songs on here is rima caribena.
