Great movie and amazing soundtrack.

The music form this soundtrack is my all-time favorite cello music. Highly recommended for all cello music lovers.

Saw the Film Years ago, Now I have the Music!!

I fell in love with the sound many years ago when I saw the film. This has such rich sounds, mournful and sorrowful. Makes me want to curl up with a nice bottle of Cabernet on a chilly fall day with my favorite wool sweater. It really is that good.

in the early to mid nineties when this had just come out I was driving along in my jeep with the top off "blasting" it (if you can use that word with this music). A neighbor came out and asked me what it was; the next day I heard it "blasting" from his apartment. truly lovely music. I remember a review at the time called it "the original soul music." you wouldn't guess this from the first track, skip it, but everything after that.... I lost this album a long time ago and have been looking for it ever since -- so thanks, e-music.
