Just do it. You'll love it.
This album is proof that great soul and funk are alive and well. Any Lee Fields album is another testament to that happy fact. Any time you get the chance to see, hear or purchase anything having to do with the great Lee Fields, just do it. I saw him play with The Expressions at the Troubadour last night and the walls were about to melt. That little man and this little band, including his gprgeous backup singers, Lady, brought the motherfucking house down. People were dancing, singing, screaming, grinding, clapping, chanting- it was nothing short of a religious experience, and Lee Fields was God. And it was oh-so-good.
