Brilliant recording. A perfect introduction to Copeland. Although this version of fanfare for the common man isn't my favorite. Great download.

No one does Copland better

Having Bernstein's versions of Aaron Copland's music on EMusic is amazing. As someone who is new to classical music, this CD is a great place to start. This is another gateway album for me that opened doors into music I hadn't heard but now can't live without.

Aaron Copland was one of Leonard Bernstein's mentors and the two shared a long and warm relationship, all of which is amply in evidence in this collection of some of Copland's better known works. Very good sound, sensitive and passionate readings, highly recommended!
