What on earth is a baroque ensemble doing playing Astor Piazzolla? Having a good time, seems to be the answer. Piazzolla's music shows up in many guises - search on this site and see. If both Oystein Baadvik and the Swingle Singers can perform Milonga del Angel, then it's not so odd. In fact it works very well, as the setup allows sly connections to be made with a certain other Four Seasons (this and the 2 Tangos are arranged by Leonid Desyatnikov, and the others by Jose Bragato).
